About This Spot

Stepping into Little Larder is like finding a quiet corner of Bromley where the pace gently slows and the little details invite you to pause. The air hums softly with the familiar warmth of freshly ground coffee beans and the welcoming buzz of friendly exchanges behind the counter. It’s a place that carries the easy rhythm of a neighborhood favorite—unpretentious yet attentive, where the baristas know the value of a well-poured espresso and a genuine smile.

The atmosphere here strikes a delicate balance between lively and laid-back, making it ideal for both a quick coffee run or a lingering escape from the day. The space feels thoughtfully put together, cozy without feeling cramped, encouraging moments of quiet contemplation or comfortable conversation among locals. It’s the kind of spot where you can watch the world outside through large windows, the steam from your cup blurring the boundary just enough to invite reflection.

What unfolds in a visit is equally rooted in craft and comfort. The coffee is consistently smooth and reliable, with familiar favorites poured on an expertly maintained La Marzocco machine. The menu quietly champions simple pleasures—from the reassuring warmth of a flat white to the occasional indulgence of a salted caramel hot chocolate. The food offerings mirror this ethos, presenting hearty, thoughtfully prepared options that feel generous and satisfying; from toasted bagels filled with fresh, thoughtfully layered ingredients to sliders and comforting sandwiches that invite you to settle in.

That sense of care extends beyond the plate: the staff’s kindness and attentiveness create a subtle but unmistakable welcome, drawing regulars back and making first timers feel at home. Whether you're popping in for your morning brew or carving out a moment in the afternoon, Little Larder unfolds as a genuine Bromley find—a quietly enduring presence where the love of good coffee meets the simple joy of human connection and well-made food.

I had an appointment in the area and was early so popped in for a snack and coffee. The coffee was very good. I would definitely return for that. However, the prices for food are very expensive. There were no prices shown but the bagel must've been about £10 (£13.85 for bagel and flat white) which is more expensive than central London. It was a good bagel, plenty of filling and toasted warm, but it wasn't worth £10. I've seen filled bagels in Bloomsbury/Russell Square for £6-9. I understand that cafés and restaurants are under pressure with constantly increasing prices, but then it becomes a vicious cycle when customers reduce their spending. I've already reduced my eating out and will probably cut down further because the prices aren't sustainable for me.

The Little Larder is my usual go-to spot whenever I need a coffee. The main thing is that the coffee is consistently good—it’s always smooth, they use decent beans, and the baristas are quick and friendly. Whether I'm grabbing a latte or an Americano, it's reliable and hits the spot every time. It’s got a genuinely nice, relaxed atmosphere. It's a great little place to pop into, grab your drink fast, and head out. Highly recommend for a reliable morning or midday brew.

Honestly Bromley's hidden gem. Great coffee and hot food. I've tried 2 of their toasties (ham & cheese and chicken & bacon) and for people who don't think toasties are a meal - try this and you'd be a convert! They're so hearty and generous with the fillings Their desserts are also deserve a shout out. I got the carrot cake and lemon drizzle cake. They're a bit on the sweeter side so perfect for sweet tooths.

Great place with amazing coffee and (very) freshly roasted beans! The coffee has a very distinctive and great taste! The milk in coffee drinks can go a notch less hot, so it will become perfect, now it's just lava-level hot :)

Probably the best bacon bap I have tried in many years across the land. It’s rich with flavour and definitely make you feel like you just ate breakfast like a King! Will return for more love it.
